A mass sensor based on digitally coupled and balanced quartz resonators using mode localization

چکیده
This article goes through the implementation of a mass sensor based on mode localization with two coupled quartz resonators. The resonators are digitally by mean field programmable gate array that also allows to compensate their fabrication defects. As both this compensation and coupling digital, resonances can be close in frequency, especially as Q factor these is much higher than conventional cantilevers, for example. leads an important localization, allowing reach resonance amplitude sensitivity 14000, predicted simulations confirmed experiments. Finally, it shown experimentally two-resonator system sensitive temperature change contrary what commonly assumed common-mode rejection property. proves necessity systematically balance before each measurement.
